You will be part of a community team who aims to help save the environment and we aim to reduce the Co2 Carbon Footprint in Exeter, Devon through a pilot project.

Are you interested in gaining practical-hands-on-work-experience and training qualifications in return for your time and commitment to be part of a positive community team with an Exeter pilot project for 12 months that could lead to a part-time paid position after completing the 3 month work trial? once our pilot project has proven to be successful while your gaining practical-hands-on-skills and qualifications in Exeter, Devon.

A1 is a 100% non-profit social enterprise, our aim is to raise enough funds through our recycling and refurbishment services as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility for Exeter and Devon to help us build an alternative technology education center for the South-West of England.

The Volunteer2Work scheme aims to offer 5 managerial places and 5 trainee places with the aim to offer people the opportunity to gain practical-hands-on-skills and qualifications that will empower people to plan, run and manage a pilot scheme. The scheme is for youngsters who would like to learn and gain basic practical-skills in how to plan, organise, manage and run a whole pilot project as part of a committed community team for a 12 month period. The scheme will be funded through one of our partners in the South West of England.

Once the scheme proves to be successful we plan to role out more similar schemes around the city in the future. A1 plan to run them across the South West. A1 is a great project that aims to tackle the rise of unemployment and poverty in our local community, to help cut the Co2 carbon emissions in the city of Exeter and Devon.

We aim to create a positive environmental impact that will empower young people in and around the South West of England.
